About

About me

I'm one of the founders and CTO of BestSolution a software company located in Tyrol, in the western part of Austria.

Some personal information

I'm married and father of 3 girls (born 2013, 2014 and 2018) and enjoy spending my free time with my 4 girls in the mountains (hiking, skiing, ...). I enjoy having a glass of red wine in my garden with friends and neighbours.

Some professional information

As alread outlined I'm one of the founders BestSolution and spend my time developing software with our team for customers in the private and public space. Almost all of those project use Java (on the server) and Typescript (on the client).

Me and my team are fluent in various frameworks including:

  • Quarkus
  • Spring Boot
  • React
  • Angular

Opensource work

Me myself and BestSolution are well know for our work in the Eclipse.org universe I was one of the first none IBM-employees to retrieve comitter status on the Eclipse-Platform-Project and spend a lof time implementing various parts of JFace (an MVC-Framework on top of SWT)

Since then I worked on projects like:

  • Eclipse 4
  • Eclipse Databinding
  • e(fx)clipse

Since a few years I dived into the world of web-development and like in the Java world contributed bugfixes and features to upstream projects we make use in our commercial projects.
